The debut EP from Special D is pure Americana rock –n- roll. The vibe is awesome. The music is laced with sweet melodies and a rousing guitar leads. Topping it all off are the spiritual elements of the lyrics and themes. The most convincing of all songs (albeit there are only 5 to choose from) is the song “Emmanuel (Tonight).” The EP has a hook in me and I am eagerly awaiting the bands next move.

The EP was released back in the spring; however, I came across the band in a merch tent this past summer at a local festival where I had the opportunity to chat with some of the band members. Over and Over can purchase the CD on the official SpecialD.net web site for a mere $5.00 – a very good deal for what you get.
