33 Miles 33 miles debut record won them a Dove “New Artist” nomination. Their follow-up, “One Life,” should win them even more fans. Lead singer Jason Barton says, “The theme of the album is simple, it is about loving God and living every mile to the fullest.” The trio’s pop country sound is present on “Gone” and “Just One of Those Days.” One of the best tracks is “My Offering.” Some of the lyrics in that song include, “I cursed your name, You called me child, I was to blame, You Went to trial, On my own I made a mess of things, but You take it as my offering.” About “Just One of Those Days,” guitarist Chris Lockwood says, “Some days have their clutter and distraction, but God is worthy to be praised every day so hallelujah anyway!” Rob S. |
