Make Some Noise is the third album from the spunky rocker Krystal Meyers. The album is starting to show some of the maturity and growth that comes with time and experience. However, my first instinct was to criticize the spirited young Meyers for conforming to the glam (the platinum blond locks) and the flare (makeup, clothing, and bling) that she claims so adamantly to be against.
I was dumfounded when I watched the video “Make Some Noise.” I was immediately turned off by the look of the whole thing. Then…. I came to my senses… I dug deep back into my memory and recalled how much I liked Miss Angie back in the day and like her, Krystal Meyers is an equal representation of her generation… it’s just that I have aged (along with Miss Angie) and the Krystal Meyers generation has arrived.
With that in mind I came around to a point where I could enjoy the power hits like “Make Some Noise,” “Shine,” and “S.O.S.” However, the album overall looses some momentum after a while and I can’t say that it stands out much from other artist in her genre.
