Ken reviewed this disk last spring, however, I recently started listening to it and thought that the writer of “Indescribable” has released an excellent debut. The title track is simply awesome. While it does not follow the all-too-typical pattern of “Happy Happy Joy Joy” that is so pervasive in most CCM, the song is ultimately very human and grounded in hope.
“Bless the Lord” is another outstanding song. Amy Grant provides some backing vocals on “Perfect Peace.”
Primarily worship and praise, the piano-driven songs, with the occasional tinge of country, should find a large audience.
