The first Christmas project from the Barlow Girls, Home For Christmas,is an amazing piece of work. The usual pop trio stepped out of their boundaries and created a traditional Christmas release with huge choir pieces, and eloquent orchestrations, all highlighted by their angelic voices.

I particularly liked “Panis Angelicus,” “Angelic Proclamation,” “Carol of the Bells/Sing We Now of Christmas” and the jazzy “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” The greatest thing about this CD is how closely they adhered to the classic sound of the songs they selected. It is easily going to become one of my favorite Christmas offerings. The Barlow sisters have shown great maturity and vocal virtuosity on Home For Christmas. How lucky we are to share in such a lovely gift.
