Travis Cottrell has been leading worship for more than 13 years for Beth Moore’s Living Proof Ministriesconferences. His rich experience as a worship leader and a vocalist is evident in his latest holiday release Ring the Bells. The mix of tracks fluctuates between Christmas classics like “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” to the more worship led tracks like “Jesus Saves.”
Overall the album is very adult contemporary and centers around Cotrell’s commanding voice. The first single for radio is the title track, “Ring the Bells,” a duet with female vocalist Natalie Grant. Another key track is “Jesus Saves,” which has a moving chorus and is really more than just a Christmas track.
Travis Cottrell will be embarking on the Compassion International “Gloria” Christmas tour with Cindy Morgan and Shaun Groves. The project is also working in conjunction with the “Buy a Bell Send a Bible” campaign where if you purchase a commemorative “Freedom Bell” a Bible will be sent to a service member.
