O Holy Night: A Live Christmas Celebration

The successful vocalist David Phelps had recently released a Christmas album in 2007 (One Wintery Night). The new recording, O Holy Night, has been released in aCD/DVD set that was recorded in a barn located on Phelps’ property.

O Holy Night is a CD for fans of David Phelps for sure, but in general I did not find that I was drawn to his usual style as a vocalist. The tone hangs there around vocal-inspirational which did not get me too excited.
