Be Afraid... Be Very Afraid

The shift to a new label seems to have lit a new fire in Chonda's ministry. "Be Afraid" is a well crafted variety show keying on fears. Chonda delves into the subject by example, humors at first, followed up by testimony and praise to God. Fear is a fitting topic just one year after the World Trade Center terrorist attacks and Chonda mentions the "little GI Joes" that stand by and protect us as we travel through air ports.

Many of the bloopers are left in, which makes for a very entertaining video. The TV commercials and skits were the best part of the show. Particularly the "Show and Tell" skit which demonstrated the miscomunication that often happens between married couples.

The video just doesn't play on fears and make fun of them, but explains how those fears can be overcome. Chonda ends the night by reading the Three Little Pigs story, and relating it to the solid rock of Christ that we build our house on. You walk away knowing that God is good and He can be trusted.
